7 Encouraging Habits
As I was thinking about what would be the best topic for me to share with you, my thoughts took me to my passion. The part of my life that has been impacted recently by personal coaching. The part of me that controls all I do. It’s the same part that controls all you do as well, EMOTIONS…
Then the scripture verse that keeps coming to my mind came to me, again. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5) Love, the first word in the verse, is an emotion. Emotion controls what and how much we eat, what we buy, what we wear and especially what we say. What controls our emotions? We do, I do. I have control over what I eat, buy, wear and say. It’s not anyone else that controls my emotions, it’s me. Others don’t make me have a positive or negative attitude. They don’t make me in a good mood or a bad mood. I can choose to get out of bed in a positive mood or a negative mood. I can choose to get dressed in my favorite jeans and top or my old worn-out sweatpants and T-shirt. It’s me that smiles or scowls in the mirror. It’s an emotion that put the laugh lines or the frown lines in the skin on my face as I age. I think about that since I just turned 61! I want the laugh lines! How about you?
So I put together 7 Easy Encouraging Habits that have helped me stay encouraged. A few things that are easy to think about on those days when I want to think more positive.
